INQUEST OPENED.

(Received Sept. 4, 5.40 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 3. The charred remains of the victims ■ of the railway accident were removed to Kirkby-Stephen. The only means - of identification are remnants of clothing, jewellery, etc. John Patterson, an accountant of London, three Morrison children, and two young ladies have been identified. The inquest was opened, and adjourned to the 17th.
