I^IIDAY, AUGUST 1. The Government Meteorologist telegraphed 1.0-day as follows: —The indications nr« ror variable and strong breezes, but westerly winds, strong to gale prevailing. Expect dull weather, with much mist and fog in parts; rain probable. The barometer has a falling tendency; sea considerable swell; tide good.
