WORLD'S PICTURES.
To-mghts change of programme introduces a sensational detective story "The Escape of the White Glove Gang,""' which, it is said, could not be produced on any stage in the world. The subject is full of sensational happenings following each other with almost'bewildering rapidity.. The story, briefly, is the capture of a gang of desperadoes, with the exception of the leader, one De Croze, and his female secretary. 1 is the hunting down of these two. in which motor launches are utilised1, that produces the greatest thrill. The finale is one of great scenic beauty; the burning flotsam of what was once a sailing vessel, on a moonlit sea. "The Escape of the White Glove Gang" is supported by a society drama by the popular Vitagraph players, and a splendid selection of scenic, topical, and comic subjects.
