The following was among the business dealt with at the Taranaki Land Board meeting on Thursday. Transfers were dealt with; as-follows :— W. Leightori to L. C Brown, section 9, block 10,-Mahoe.—Approve^. --,-, James Pehniall to Herbert Briseo, section 76, block 6, Ngaere-—Approved. H. Jones to A. McLean, sections 4, 5, 47 and 48, Stratford.—Approved. Thos.' Webb to Frank New land, section 39, block 2, Ngaere, education lease —: Approved. . Mrs M. M..Hamerton applied t« ex.chanjj©: section,,:}' and part section^2, block; 14, Ngatifiiaru, 'with"Julius Jacobsen "for section ,3," block 4, Omona, and sections 4, 8," and 9,"block 4, Omona/--/ Approved; H. H. and W. C. Judd to Ku-h Campbell, sections 9, 15 and 1.6, block 2, Omona, and section 13, block 14, Ngatimaru, in exchange for section 1. block 8, and section 4, block 7, Mimi.—Approved. Amplications to sub-lease were received and were dealt with as follows: Jno. O'Sullivan to J. Wallis, sublease section 4, block 6, Kaupokonui.— Left in the hands of the Commissioner to deal with. Chas. W ratchorn. lessee of sections 8 and 9, block 3, Omona, applied for a deferred payment lice__.se of these sections, and it was proposed to issue the license without any special conditions as to residence and improvements, as these conditions were fulfilled under the lease.—Approved.

The proposals for expenditure of thirds were approved as follows:—Taranaki County Council. £34 ls lid ; Whangamomona County Council, £90 6s lid. Thirds to Wairoa Road Board. £520 6s 7d; -Mo+.oi_a Road Bbnvd, •£_ 13s 10d; Patea County Council, £78 5s lid; Ohura County Council, £288 lis 7d, were approved subject to their being in order.—-Abridged from Herald.
