GISBORNE, June 20

At the .Magistrate's Court Mary Mackenzie, of Otoko, and G. J. A. Johnston, clerk of the Magistrate's Court, proceeded against A. Herbert Hallen, of Clevedon, medical practitioner, ;ind H. J. Finn, solicitor, "to £16 10s 6d, an amount stated to have been paid out of court by mistake to defendant in connection •with a claim of £25 made by defendant against plaintiff in February last. His Worslrp reserved decision.
