DOMINION DAIRY SHOW.

ACTIVE PREPARATIONS

The Show Building has undergone agreat change within the last few days workmen being- actively engaged 'in fitting up the various stands, etc., necessary to accommodate exhibits.' The men responsible for giving the best results to the Government exhibit are now on the scene, and the display in this section this year will be on a scale before unequalled. The farmer wi", not benefit alone by an inspection of this important exhibit, but also the townsman; the former will gain valuable information, while the latter will be able to realise that the Government experimental farms are real live educational institutions, and -by results justify their existence. There will be a grand display of dairy-and other machinery, including seven milking machines. The entries this year exceed those of last year by fully 200, exhibits coming from Wellington,' Napier, Wangamu, Auckland, New Plymouth, Palmerston North and elsewhere. Visitors are promised something out of the common at the 1913 exhibition. The Lyric Orchestra will be in attendance afternoon and evening throughout the snow, and Miss Curran, the Wonderful girl pianiste, will also play selections' at intervals, morning and .afternoon. It has been decided to open the show at 11 a.m.. instead of 12 noon, on the : 25th inst. .
