When in, the Isle of Maui recently, the Rev. H. Mason, vicar of Otahuhu. met a son of Major yon Tempsky, who so greatly distinguished himself in the Maori war, and was killed in this district in the action at* Te-Ngutu-o-Te-Manu. The Major's son is successfullymanaging a large, plantation on ' the' island. ■---.-
