THE INDRABARAH.
HOPEFUL PROSPECTS
BT TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION
WELLINGTON, June 5. The Evening Post received by pigeon post a message despatched at 9 o'clock this morning by Captain Watchlin, stat- ■ ing that the- Terawhiti, which left Wellington last night, arrived at the fridrabarah at daylight. The-veather is suitable for salvage work and-prospects for refloating are very favorable. The vessel .has shifted seaward 250 fathoms and is now in \7_ feet of water, and moving seaward steadily. ' MARTON, June 5. Since 8 .a.m. the Indrabarah appears to have shifted about a quarter of a mile seaward. Opinions as to the distance vary, but all agree that she has moved a considerable distance and there is now every chance of her being successfully >" refloated. PALMKRSTON N., June 5. Although no official information has been received, it is reported that the Indrabarah has been towed off into deep * water. Mr Simpson, of Heaton Park, Bulls, states that he watched the vessel through a glass and since .yesterday morning's spring tide she has shifted seawards at least a quarter of a mite from her old position. The steamer is now in water deep enough to allow a vessel (presumably the Terawhiti) to come alongside. This information is considered very reliable.
