VISIT TO AKAROA
BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION
WELLINGTON, May 19. Owing to the delay in the cablemending operations in Cook Strait, caur.ed through heavy weather, it is thought that the Government steamer Tutanekai will not be available for tendering purposes in connection with the visit of H.M.S. New Zealand to Akaroa on Saturday next. But if the weather clears, the steamer may effect her repairs, unship her cabl?' gear, and get down to Akaroa in time.
