WELLINGTON, May 17. Alexander Thomson, who is also believed to have gone under the name of Thrumm, shot hm.self in Boulcott street this morning. He left the boamingho ise where he had be_n living, and a few moments afterwards discharged a buiiet from a six-chambered revolver into lis side close to the heart. He died a quarter of an hour after admission to lhe hospital. He was a bricklayer by trade, about 35 years of age, and came from San Francisco five months ago. He had been under medical treatment lately.
