A NEW ZEALAND SUBSIDY

At a meeting of the Federal Committee to arrange details in connection with the visit of the British Association for the Advancement of Science, it was stated that New Zealand had granted £2000 for the passages of twenty-fiVe representatives, with a view to enabling them to extend their tour to New Zealand. It was resolved that the British Association be invited to nominate twenty-five of its members to go to New Zealand after the Sydney meeting, on the understanding that New Zealand should pay £30 towards the expenses of each, and that the members fulfilled scientific duties in New Zealand.
