FINLEYVILLE EXPLOSION.
RESCUE WORK PROCEEDING

A hundred are dead at Finleyville. Eighty escaped by crawling through the shaft amidst deadly gas. Seventy bodies have been recovered. After-damp is hampering the rescue work.
The fate of twenty of the men still in the mine is unknown.
Tte cause of the disaster is unknown
