The growth of grass is good but the wet has been too constant and has not improved the feeding qualities of the grass in the district (reports the Opuhake Times). The dairyman who has kept his stock in robust condition will not feel the bad effects of the strong spring growth ■; the milking stock in poor condition will take a longer period this season to get into profit. Eighteen boys, chosen from the Feilding, Marton. Taihape, and Wanganui High Schools' agricultural classes are to go into camp at Almadale^ Mr E. Shoit's stud farm at Cheltenham, on Monday, says the Feilding Star. They will be in charge of Messrs Grant and 0. A. Banner, the agricultural instructors for the Wanganui Education Board/ and will remain in camp for a week.
