TROUBLE IN TIMARU
. • TIMARU, Nov. 29. . Trouble with the waterside workers (federationists) is again threatened, concerning two railwaymen employed on the wharves, a crane-driver and a tally-clerk, over whom a temporary strike occurred some time ago. This was ended by the two men joining the union. They have since given notice of withdrawal .—and"-th~e* urtibifrstr■■§tate""~lHa"t'1 tßey will not work any vessel at which these men are employed after terminating their notice of withdrawal. A statement is current that an endeavor is to be made to form an arbitration union among the watersiders.
