A MEMBER EJECTED
CENSURE MOTION DEFEATED
SYDNEY, Oct. 25
In the Assembly, Mr Fitzpatrick and the Speaker again came into conflict, and tne member evaded removal by walking out, but returned and voted on a division. The Speaker noticed him, and ordered his removal. Mr Fitzpatriek claimed that the bar was down, and an angry wrangle ended by the Speaker sending for the police. Mr Fitzpatrick was removed, protesting loudly that the Speaker was manipulating a Government majority.
After the Premier had replied to Mr AVood's censure motion a short debate -ensued, and the closure was applied, -the motion being negatived by 41 votes to 37.
