LONDON, Oct. 24. The death is announced of Viscount Peel.
[The deceased nobleman was the fifth *on of Sir Robert Peel, the celebrated statesman, who abolished the protectionist Corn Laws of England. He was Speaker of the House of Commons from 1884 till 1895, and, in accordance with custom, was created a Viscount on his retirement.]
