SENTENCED FOR TREASON.
BERLIN, Oct. 21. Banchcu, a keeper of military carrier pigeons, has been sentenced to eight years' penal aervittide for supplying France with information regarding Metz. Johann Berger, his brother-in-law, a fortification clerk, and Thiebaut, a stone mason, were sentenced to six years' imprisonment each. All were employed in the Metz fortress works.
