WELLINGTON, Oct. 22
Within the last two or three years four new picture houses have been built in Wellington, besides four existing buildings which were converted to the same purpose. Another is under construction and a new Onera House

The Wellington Opera House Company lias accepted the tender of Sanders Bros"., Wellington, at £33,000 for the erection of a new Opera House in Manners street. The building, which is to bs finished by Christmas, 1913, will have the finest stage south of the line and the second largest auditorium in Australasia.
