WANGANTJI, July 28. The South Island touring team met the Wanganui representatives yesterday afternoon in dull but fine weather. The ground was in excellent order, and there was a very large attendance. A fast same resulted in a win for Wanganui by 20 points to 16 . Tries were scored for the local team by Tilyard (2), Temperton and W. Dustin. L. Meuli converted two tries and Collier potted a goal from the field. For the visitors Forbes, Southp;ate, and Nelson scored, Church converting two tries.
