EGMONT LICENSING COMMITTEE.
An adjourned meeting of the Egmont Licensing Committee was held at noon on Wednesday. Present: Mr Kenrick, h.M. (chairman). Messrs L. Hill, A. H. Christie, and T.. Strack.
An application by W. G. Emeny (Mr Weir) for a license for the Rahotu Hotel was granted, and also an application by John Rnssell [Mr Bennett) for a license for the Waimate Hotel (Manaia). With respect to an application by G. D. MoKenzie (Mr Bennett) for a license for the Manaia Hotel, Mr Bennelff explained that the contract for the erec-
