BY CABLE—PEES? ASSOCIATION-COP FRIGHT (Received June 8, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 8. The premises of the Pioneer Spring Company were burglarised and £8 stolen.

A youth was bailed up last night by a masked man, who tired when the youth rushed him. The first shot missed, but another went through the youth's finger. After a struggle the assailant decamped.

ADELAIDE, June 8

A hotel here was burglarised, and the licensee fired through the bedroom door. The robbers fled.

Three shops at Kadina were entered, but little of value was stolen.
