PAHIATUA, May 15. , The Pahiatua Racing Club has appointed a deputation to proceed to Wellington on May 20 to interview the Minister for Internal Affairs regarding its application for the reinstatement of its totalisator permit. The Pahiatua Club, which owns a valuable freehold course, splendidly appointed, is one of the clubs which fell a victim to the Racing Commission report eighteen months ago. As the result of its recommendations the ti whole disrict from Woodville to the oher side of Masterton was deprived of race meetings.
