OPERA HOUSE.

About ten years ago Mr T. J. West introduced the cinematograph to the dominion, and the star item of the tour was undoubtedly "A Trip to the Sim," a trick film which caused a good deal of comment at the time, and nothing has been seen like it since. Tonight, however, the management of the Words Pictures will produce its rival in "The Conquest of tha Pole," a most wonderful make-believe picture, that will appeal to old and young, and will long be remembered. The programme will otherwise be found ,full of good things, and the Lyric Orchestra will supply bright and tuneful music, including the latest waltz, "Gretchen." Patrons should book their seats early.
