8Y CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPYRIGHT. LONDON, May 9. A terrific gas explosion at Stratford wrecked a meterhouse and adjacent buildings. A workman was found in the ruins with his head blown off, and another was desperately injured. The town and adjacent villages are in darkness.
