A WORKER'S VOICE
BY TBLEGSAPH-PBKB3 ASSOCIATION
AUCKLAND, May 9. lhe case of J. Robins v. Union Co was before the Arbitration Court the other day. Medical witnesses for the defence suggested, that Robins was not using his voice as fully as he might and an adjournment was granted iii order to allow experts to examine Robins' throat at the hospital. When the Court met to-day, Drs J. H. Neill and T. R. Inglis still gave it as their opinion that Robins had not spoken as well as he might when he was in the witness-box.
Mr Bamford (counsel for the plaintiff) called Dr Somerville, who said he had examined Robins at the request of Dr tfemvick, and gave it as his opinion that tne condition of the man's .throat was consistent with the present huskiness of his voice.
After hearing counsel, His Honor said tne Court would take time to consider its verdict.
