U FT" The secretary stated that he had replied, thanking tne Wellington Union for its courteoul *tc tion.
It was decided to send a representative team to play Wanganui on June d, the Wanganm Union returning the Messrs. A. Hunter, E. Bourke, and 4 Lees were appointed selectors for South Taranaki, and Messrs Mynott. Mr Glenn brought up the matter of S?w! mi?> g «nc»rill>ments interfering uith the Ruguy fixtures, and suggested putting bacK the fixtures-a week After discussion it was resolved to adhere to the fixtures, but the secretary was instructed to write to the defence authorities asking that facilities be given to onf I£ eu playin S °n Saturday. Ihe Star Juniors protested against Eltham Juniors for playing Cooper, who, it was alleged, played in a Northern Union game at Mangatoki. The Union considered it had no jurisdiction, as the match was played out of the football season.
Phe Inglewood club wrote stating that it was unable to play a senior team this season, ana it is decided to allow Clifton to draw on all available senior players.
NORTHERN DIVISION RESULTS
The Tukapa-Stratford senior match ended in a draw, 3 points each. The game is reported by the News as "not brilliant, kicking and loose forward play bemg the predominating features.'" 5 btohr kicked a fine penalty' goal for lukapa, and Bonnor scored a try for otratford.
J^iors.-Ster, 8, beat Tukapa, 3 Chiton, 20, beat Inglewood, 14.
