WESTPORT, May 9. At a meeting of delegates from Buller and Inangahua local bodies tonight, Mr D. J. Williams, county chairman, was elected delegate to proceed to Wellington to the conference on the Local Government Bill, ihe members present disapproved of being allowed to elect only one delegate, holding that the interests of boroughs and county councils in some respects conflicted, and that both should have an opportunity of representation at the conference.
