The District High School re-opened to-day after the summer holidays with an attendance of 490 present. Forty-five new pupils were enrolled. In the secondary department there are 43 pupils, 12 of whom are new students from Manaia, Okaiawa, Normanby, Tokaora, Manutahi, and Hurleyville.
