.TAMPERING WITH v THE JURY
BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION— CqPYRJGHT. NEW YORK, Jan. 27. At the trial of the woman Hazzard the Judge^ said there was positive evidence that the jury was being tampered with. He issued a stern warning, saying that the discovery of the guilty party would result in imprisonment for him. He exonerated counsel on both sides.
Mrs Hazzard's counsel asked for an acquittal, but the Judge refused.
A NURSE'S EVIDENCE
(Received Jan. 29, 10 a.m.) NEW YORK, Jan. 28. At the trial of Mrs Hazzard a nurse testified that Mrs Hazzard was always kind to her patients' Dorothy Williamson was. certainly mentally unsound.
