Otaki is only about 2 hours by rail from Wellington, and there is an excellent train service, so that sections in this estate are ideally placed for fattening, milking, fruit growing and market gardening. The land is all ploughable, and there are about 200 acres of rich river deposit flats. It is considered to be the best land on the West Coast. There are 8 sections, ranging from 11 to 127 acres, and all have good road frontages, and there are convenient houses on two of them, also on Mr Milner's property.
