THE KIWITEA OUTRAGE.

FEILDING, Jan. 22. There are no developments in connection with the Kiwitea outrage. Mrs Kernahan, the postmistress, was not so seriously injured as was at first reported. It is now found that no bones were broken, but there were cuts; and bruises on the head and left arm. .
The police are very reticent, but it is understood they are working on a definite clue.
