The friends of Cr. Campbell will regret to hear that he is again indisposed, and was unable to be present at last night's meeting of the Borough Council. He was granted leave of absence.

At Wednesday's meeting of the Stratford County Council, reports the Post, a resolution was unanimously carried placing on record the Council's appreciation of the able work of its late chairman, Mr G. A. Marchant, on behalf of the country. In speaking to the motion, councillors expressed: regret that Mr Marchant was not now with the Council to give it his assistance.
