There was only a short civil sitting of the Hawera Magistrate's Court this morning when the majority of the cases set down for hearing were either confessed or settled. In the case Quin Bros. v. H. A. Wilson, claim 7s 7d judgment was entered for plaintiff by default, for the amount claimed. '
