CABINET MEETING.
AUTHORISATIONS FOR RAILWAYS AND ROADS.

CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 20. A meeting of the Cabinet was held in Uiristchurch this afternoon, and the following amounts were authorisedRailway rolling stock, £40,000: roads and bridges, £16,000. The lowest tender for the erection of the Ohura Post Office was accepted. The recommendation of the Petitions Committee in regard to the Haynes case was brought Lefoie the Cabinet, and it was decided to go into the matter fully after the elections were ov«r. The Cabinet will then deal with the recommendations.
