ANTARCTIC EXPLORATION

CAPTAIN SCOTT'S EXPEDITION

FURTHER APPEAL FOR FUNDS

BY CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATION— COPYRIGHT,

LONDON, Nov. 20. The committee of the British Antarctic expedition urgently appeals for £15,000 to cover the damage to the Terra Nova by storms.

(Received Nov. 21, 8.5 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 20. The Times, Standard, and Morning Post, apart from patriotic reasons, bespeak a hearty response to the appeal for funds to enable Captain Scott to carry to a successful issue his expedition, which is described as better equipped for scientific work than any of its predecessors.
