PAID PATRIOTS.

A RUSH OF ASPIRANTS

LONDON, July 22

The passage of the Payment of Members Bill has had the result that the number of political aspirants will be vastly increased.

Though the Independent Laborites,' who are only eight in number, rather scorned the proposal, they havfe just approvedof 15 fresh candidates in the interests of their party, and seven more are to be selected for constituencies suppcfid to support their principles.
