The cows are an exceptionally choice lot, in the best of condition, mostly Jersey-Holstein cross, bred by the vendor, and are all due to calve early. Mr Kemp has been dairying for ten years, and has spared no expense in getting a first-class herd together. The cows, as a herd, took fourth prize in the Egmont A. and P.'s competition in 1909.
