The working of the Hospital Board under the new Act, according to the Chairman of the local Board, shows a decided improvement, the chief feature being the large decrease in the amount spent in outdoor relief, During April the Northern Wairoa Dairy Co. manufactured 39,0231bs of butter s an increase of 18J per cent, over the corresponding month last year.
