Mr Bindon stated that since the report has been sent a decided improvement had taken place. The committee dealt with the business of repairing", fencing, ploughing, etc.; to be attended to by the Visiting Committee, viz., Rev. Howes, Messrs Snowden and Donald. Accounts to the amount of £6 were passed -tox; payment. A working bee under the control of the Beautifying Committee was held'in the Domain on Wednesday, and got through a considerable amount of work in clearing up the grounds and removing dead timber from the trees and otherwise trimming them. It was de- , cided to hold another next Wednesday, when it is hoped there will be a larger 1 number of townspeople, as well as the members of the committee.
