INSANE COWBOY.
KILLS SEVERAL RELATIVES; THEN COMMITS SUICIDE.
3Y CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPYBIGHI. (Received April 8, 9.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, April 7. A cowboy named Root, at Billings, Montana, lassooed his bride and dragged her body for miles across the country.
The woman's head was crushed. Root then shot his brother-in-law dead.
He also shot the widowed sister of his first wife, afterwards killing his stepson.
He committed suicide later
It is believed that he became suddenly insane, the result of domestic troubles.
