CHARGES OF CATTLE STEALING.

WELLINGTON, April 6. Arthur Clifford St. Clair Isbister, a farmer, of Pukehuia, was indicted, on three separate charges at the Magistrate's Court this morning. (1) That on February 28, 1911, at Ngahauranga, he stole one heifer value at £2 10s, the property of Timothy Twomey; (2) that on March 7, 1911, at Wellington, he stole one horse valued at £23, the property of Henry Samuel Burton; and (3) that he on March 7, at Wellington, having received £12 from Robert Hancock on forms requiring him to account for the same to Sarah Burton, failed to do so, thereby committing theft. After evidence had been taken accused was committed for trial on charges of cattle stealing.
