RADIUM
(Received Jan. 28, 12 noon.) SYDNEY Jan .28.
At a meeting of directors of the Radium Hill Company, the metallurgist reported that he had. treated three tons of ore which yielded an average of eight milligrammes of radium bromide per ton, worth £2G per milligramme; also thirty pounds of uranium oxide, worth ten . shillings a pound. He recommended the board to proceed with the erection of the plant.
