At the Stortford Lodge sale on Wednesday, fat sheep were in fair numbers, and were all well competed for. Store sheep consisted of pens of forward ewes and wethers, forward lambs, and 2 and 4-tooth wethers, all of which only met fair competition, a few pens being passed in. Fat ewes 9s lid, mixed sex cull lambs 6s, 8 Border Leicester rams 17s, 1 Shropshire ram £1, rape lambs 8s 3d, 2-tooth wethers 9s ; 3d, shorn lambs Bs, brown lambs 3s i 4d, ewes and lambs 3s 6d.
