DR. HYDE'S APPEAL
STARTLING DEVELOPMENTS
NEW YORK, Jan. 16. Exciting developments are promised in the appeal of Dr. Bennett Hyde, a Kansas practitioner, against the sentence of imprisonment for life which was passed on him for the murder of his wife's uncle, Colonel Swope. The appeal will come before the Missouri Supreme Court on Friday next. Hyde was also accused of murdering other members of his wife's family, the i motive being, it was alleged, to increase the amount of her legacies.
