ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.

iJY TiJLjaGBAI'H.— PKUSB ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, Dec. 31. George Moorcroft, a tailor by trade, who on December 20, after a drinking bout, attempted to commit suicide, first by cutting his wrist with a knife and then his throat with a razor, was before the S.M. Court to-day charged with the offence. He was convicted and ordered to pay the medical expenses incurred.
