ALLEGED INCENDIARISM.
A PECULIAR CASE. BY TEI/BGBAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION. WAIHI, Dec. 28. Wm. Butler was charged at the Court to-day with w'lfully setting fire to his sister's house at Waikino^ which was totally destroyed. It appears that the accused returned from Thames by a late train last night in a drunken state, and heard news which enraged him. In that state it is alleged that he destroyed the furniture, poured kerosene about the house,, and set fire to it. The accused was remanded on account of his condition. Butler's sister was absent at the time.
