Two other engines were standing on the line, and all four ■engines were badly damaged. No one was injured. - AUSTRALIAN BEEF. MELBOURNE, t)ct. 31. Referring to a recent cable, Mr Tudor said the question of worm nodules in Australian beef was under considera--tion. The Federal Cabinet three months ago, as a result of a report to the Government, ordered a more strict inspection of exported beef. Nodule are not injurious. CONSTITUTION AMENDMENT BILL. MELBOURNE, Oct. 31. The State Premier strongly protests against the Federal Constitution Amendment Bill including railway servants. The Minister for Water Supply declared that those responsible for the inclusion were acting like a band of brigands filching the State rights. Unless the States as now constituted, were to disappear this sort of legislation would have to be checked.
