E. DIXON & G° DIRECT IMPORTERS, SOLE AGENTS. 75,000 .SAMES' PIANOS AND ORGANS IN JJBE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. TESTIMONIALS. Hamilton House, Clarendon Road, Edgbaston, I have the pleasure of stating that I have recently examined the Pianofortes manufactured by WILLIAM SAMES, LTD., and I think most highly of them. The construction of all classes is very substantial, and the Instruments, therefore, cannot fail to be durable; while the touch is always free and responsive, and the tone of excellent character, both as regards sonority and brilliancy. I may add that they are as perfect as any Instruments of the most celebrated makers. C. SWINNERTON HEAP, Mus. Bac.j Cantab. SAMES' PIANOS. Reprint from the "London and Provincial Music Trades Review." At the recent competition held in London by the Music Trades Association of Great Britain, open to Pianoforte Manufacturers throughout the world, for an Upright Iron Grand, the Instrument manufactured by WILLIAM SAMES, LTD., Birmingham and London, obtained the highest possible number of marks in every one of the twenty-three particulars. A large number of manufacturers competed, both English and • foreign, and it is satisfactory to know that the result is in favor of the British workman. The examination, which was conducted by about seven experts, in Pianos, was a severe one, and as no maker's name appeared on any of the Instruments, there is no doubt as to its fairness. WILLIAM SAMES, LTD., were accordingly appointed makers to the Association, and received a large contract for a J|©arly supply of their Pianos. " SAMES' PIANOS. From the Piano Journal, London (a Monthly Paper for Makers and Dealers). THE "SAMES" PIANOS are purely high-class from top to bottom, have a beautiful and substantial appearance. The touch is everything that could be desired; sympathetic, elastic, and with a good repetition, whilst the tone is well balanced with a full round bass, and a brilliant and musical treble. The makers certainly take rank with the first makers of the day, either English or foreign. SAMES' PIANOS. E. DIXON & C° HAWERA. SAMES' PIANOS ARE THE REST
