- AUCKLAND, August 20. # A conference of athletic societies in Auckland province decided to take no action regarding the establishment of an athletic union for the North Island, as th 6 provincial system was sufficiently satisfactory. # On account of the prosperous condition of the association the affiliation fee was reduced to 10s. I*> was aereed to reciprocate with the League of Wheelmen, the Axemen's .Association and the amateur body. rh.impionships were allotted to Te Kuiti Society for the coming season.
