Catherine Moore, a middle-aged woman, was convicted on three charges of shop-lifting. Sentence was deferred till Saturday. In the case of Thomas Joseph Lloyd, charged with burglary, the jury failed to agree. Dong Hon, Chinese interpreter, was sentenced to nine months' imprisonment for assault.
